The only thing worse than realizing someone’s not listening to you is being called out for not listening to someone else. Doug Fields, a veteran youth worker, husband, and father of three, realized early in his ministry career that listening—really listening—did not come naturally for him. Through many years of experience (and several humbling moments) he’s worked hard to develop tools to help him better engage with the people in his life and ministry.
